Wow!!!! i learnt something new for week 3 that seems to be very interesting to me. i love it. This is called mind meister. I see my self using this in the class to help me students to work together while sharing idea. the phase say each on help one and mind meister represent this a hundred percent. I really do see this app. making a difference in my class
Unfortunately, I did not spend as much time with the mindmeister application. However,it appears to be an efficient pictoral application program. I am currently having issues using it but with practice, practice, practice I will eventually be a Natural at it.

Mind Meister is interesting!!! My dear Nadine we have to put some practice into it and eventually we will get the hang of it. With any new experience practice will make perfect.
This app is very useful in helping students learn complex or alot of information. It is very difficult to use at first but with time i will eventually get there. I am continuing to explore this app. I will definitely use it in the future.
Exploration is a great way to learn, and incorporating it in the class will always add to the productivity of the class. Everything should always be questioned and see how it can be used in the classroom.
Mindmeister was a new experience for me. I have drawn concept maps before but not in this manner. It seems very creative and although I am not adept at using it, I hope I can master it in the future.
When I first started using mind map it was confusing to me, since it was my first time being exposed to this concept. I did not fully understand how to use it, so i was lost for a second but i have come to a realization that I will not grasp all the concepts the same time but through continuous exposure to it I will eventually get it. Mind map can be a very beneficial tool to use in the classroom when introducing new topics, as it would help to simplify topics and make connections/links to sub-topics.
Mind Meister is simple yet challenging in some aspects. Adding a link to an idea was a bit confusing, but after exploring, it became manageable. After many practice, I will get the hang of it and hopefully use it to build maps with my students.
Where do I start? I LOVE IT, IT'S GREAT!!! Mindmeister has been on my laptop for a while but now that i am able operate this application I am thrilled. Being able to interact and understand the other minds which are in this course is an awesome thing. There is hope for us after all in this course. Most others have a problem and expressed this but I believe we will all grasp it eventually.... GOOD LUCK!!
"Mind Blowing" MindMeister. The idea of being able to easily place all relevant information in one are/on one map, sounds rather interesting. However, I do feel there is more to be learnt, as the information seems to be coming all at once and is a bit overwhelming. Nonetheless, I am excited to continue to explore this concept and implement in my classes.
The Mind Meister program is a useful program as it allows for a large amount of information to be organised whether from one person or a group. There is a main advantage I experienced which is that of having one access point for information retrieved from all relevant reading materials.The concept of using the Mind Meister in the class room I can have full student participation giving there individual contribution to the relevant topic and making one class representation therefore encouraging active and not passive participation.
Yes Jasmine! I find the program very useful especially as foreign language teachers. It will not only allow our students with vocabulary or different topics but we can allow our students to work together. It allows us as foreign language teachers to understand and access the level of understanding on a particular topic by the idea given through mind meister. I love this app. technology is making my job easier!
Using Mind Meister was very interesting. I learnt that Mind Meister is basically used to show or connect relationships between a topic and information pertaining to that topic. Mind Master, once you get a hang of it is very easy and fun to use. Today i created my own mind map where i showed the levels of The Psychomotor Domain. After displaying my information i went and experience with the features of the Mind Map and design my map. This app is so COOL! I will definitely be using it in my classroom in the future.....AWESOME SAUCE!!!!!!!!

I can definitely see how it can be utilized in the classroom for group brainstorming, class contributions to idea and also for representing information in a more creative way. However, I do see some potential challenges with this tool in respect to it not being very user friendly. However, this may just be a matter of perspective. Yet, with a bit of practice, this may just turn out to be a very creative tool that I can utilize, not only in the classroom but also in my personal life. Who doesn't need an organization tool? The more, the merrier.

This week experience using MindMeister was very complex. The simple tasks we take for granted such as paying attention to all of the different icons on a screen (Remembering), clicking on the icons to make connections to what each icon is used for (Understanding), using the icon in the map to help to represent knowledge gained (Applying), applying what is known about organizing ideas into small chunks or subtopics (Analyzing), valuing whether or not the idea represented is clear enough to any reader who sees the visual representation of the information (Evaluating) and finally being able to read the combined elements of the map to construct new meaning from the pattern designed (Creating), they will all become clearer as there is a positive attitude displayed (Affective - Valuing) of trying it more than once (Psychomotor - Precision) until I get it (Naturalization-Characterization-Creating).
I do believe that using mindmapping as a strategy is an excellent tool for brainstorming ideas!

I had so much fun using MindMeister, I hope we get to use it again. It was great, I enjoyed it. I never knew about that site until EDET class, and I am very happy to have found out about it now. It seems like a great way of being able to brainstorm, without using pen and paper! It also leaves room for creativity, and that's always a good thing.
Using MindMeister was challenging yet fun at the same time. i enjoyed using my curiosity to make it creative and making it mine. i was able to connect different levels and describe them in a fun easy way.
It was very interesting using MindMeister, cant wait to use it again. The things we get to do in EDET class are mind blowing. I now know that there are websites out there that are very useful.
Mrs Roberts, I am personally going to ask the principal @ my school to have you come in to show some teachers that new ideas can be included into their ''accustomed'' way of doing things. Thank you for the new experience in each class. I do hope that I am able to effectively utilize Mind Master et al.
Week three. Well MindMeister is very new to me it was confusing at first but i got the hang of it. Mindmeister is a fun way to get away from the pen and paper norm.
I'm sure we will be exposed to ways MindMeister can be used to engage younger children. Just like we did where each person adding information to the main idea, you can also do it with the younger ones
It was a new experience. Very interesting when I got into the groove of the actual mapping process. I can think of a few ways in which I can use this new technique. For illustration purposes, and as well as personal decision making process. Interesting application.

What a tool this is! I can definitely see how this an be useful in breaking down large amounts of information so that it can be easily understood. Why in life we were not exposed to Mindmeister at those professional development sessions is beyond me? A definite must in the classroom!

During this week's E.D.E.T class we used an application called MindMeister to create maps. I had a fun time exploring and creating maps. I was puzzled at first, I started tampering and then I finally got through. Thanks Mrs. Marsh for introducing me to this spectacular application.

Wow! Mind Meister you are taking me places. You have become like a G.P.S to me. If ever I lost my way, I should be able to revert to you my little map that should help me to go in the right direction.
In the beginning using Mind Meister was difficult for me but as I progressed and tinkered more I found it to be quit simple. I can definitely see the implications of this app in the class room.
I must admit that Mind Meister was challenging yet still very interesting and complex. This application will be implicated in the classroom to build a more teacher/ student friendly learning environment as we explore and brainstorm, whether individually, small groups or entire class setting as i seek to encourage active participation.
Education in Technology has been rather productive. We have been been using MindMeister it has been really interesting. In my opinion it is an easy accessible way to study and/or create notes. it makes the learning creative and fun allowing other colleagues to add more information to yours. This application can be useful in classrooms by allowing us as teachers to write our specific goal and describe the way in which we plan to achieve it.
